A word from Ray
“It is time for leaders to rise up in our community and take back our local and state governments. It is time for our political elections to be more about real-world experience and less about politics. Our leaders should know how to run a business. They should know how to lead and direct. Our elected officials should know how to balance a budget and make wise financial decisions in times of recession and in times of prosperity.
That is why I am running for Colorado House District 54. I moved to Grand Junction 30 years ago because I felt it was the best choice for raising a family. I have seen the good times and the bad. I have seen my way through the booms and busts. I know what it will take to protect the Grand Valley and restart our economy.
I am choosing to become a leader because sitting on the sidelines is no longer an option. Over the past years, legislation has been passed that does not reflect the views of most Coloradans. It has jeopardized our businesses and hurt the economy of the Grand Valley. I believe with the right leadership and representation that our greatest days lie ahead of us. I am not a politician, I am one of you and I am asking for your support and your vote.”
